The Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Cleaner to work under the direction of the Cleaning Crew Coordinator and/or Building Administrator, to perform various cleaning and custodial activities as required for the satisfactory operation, care, appearance, safety and security of assigned building, grounds and its contents.  The nature of work will include, but is not limited to the following: - Perform general cleaning duties as set forth in the daily cleaning schedules developed for building maintenance. - Report any adverse building conditions to Building Manager and/or Cuyahoga DD Services Manager. - Maintain all sidewalks and entryways to building free of obstruction, debris, ice and snow during assigned shift. - Wash all exterior and interior windows and doors according to schedule developed by Services Manager. - Maintain all maintenance machines and cleaning equipment. - Assist in maintaining a well-organized, well-stocked and clean maintenance storage area. The Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Maintenance Tech to perform various maintenance and custodial activities as required for the satisfactory operation, care, appearance, safety and security of assigned building, grounds and its contents. The nature of work will include, but is not limited to the following: - Perform variety of maintenance and custodial tasks to maintain a safe, secure, and orderly appearance of Cuyahoga DD property and grounds. - Relocate and substitute as a Maintenance Technician I to other Cuyahoga DD facilities as assigned; scheduled work hours (starting time and quitting time) and duties may vary by site. - Perform general cleaning duties as set forth in the daily cleaning schedules developed for building maintenance by site manager or Facilities Maintenance Manager. - Perform general maintenance and repairs, and various assembly and installation work as required. Report any adverse conditions to supervisory personnel. - Ensure building grounds are properly maintained.  Maintain all sidewalks and entryways to building free of obstruction, debris, ice and snow, during entire shift. - Unload delivery trucks.  Check in goods received and relocate to appropriate area. - Maintain all maintenance machines and cleaning equipment in good working condition. - Assist in building security and the closing and locking of all doors and windows, as scheduled. - May perform major maintenance and repair activities such as painting, redecorating and replace ceiling tiles work during spring, summer and winter break periods. - Assume responsibilities of another Maintenance Technician I if asked to fill in to cover in their absence as assigned. - Respond to building security and safety checks during non-working hours, as needed.  - Emergency repairs to building, snow and ice removal, and building damage clean up as needed. - Perform the following checklists : Monthly Contract Service Report, Monthly Fire System Inspection Report, Weekly Emergency Generator Set Inspection Checklist, Building Walkthru Checklist, Monthly Custodial/ Landscape Checklist, Daily Playground Inspection Form(Where Needed), Custodial / Maintenance Equipment and Tool Inventory(Yearly). - Check phone and Email daily, and be accessible to phone messages - Change equipment filters twice a year or more often if needed. - Perform curb painting and sidewalk repairs, maintain cracks and preventative maintenance as needed. - Generate Work Orders and monitor equipment through Metasys. The Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities (Cuyahoga DD) is seeking a Support Administrator to work as member of the Eligibility Team.  Support Administrators in this assignment are responsible for assisting someone from the time they first contact the board for help, through the eligibility process, and until they are assigned to a Support Administrator or referred to another program to assist them with their needs.  Because Cuyahoga County is a culturally rich community, in order to provide the best customer service possible, we are seeking candidates who are fluent in both English and Spanish.  If you are not bilingual but would like to apply for a similar position, we encourage you to apply for our other Support Administrator job postings that can be found on our career page.   The nature of work for all Support Administrators includes, but is not limited to the following: - Act as the primary point of coordination for the person-centered planning team. Utilize an assess/plan/review/revise process to help teams plan for each individual assigned.     - Assist individuals and teams to identify issues, areas of potential risk, and outcomes that are important to and for the individual.  Complete and/or coordinate thorough assessments to determine the need for services and supports. Manage processes related to prior authorization as necessary and respond to requests for revisions of authorizations as needed.  - Establish and maintain contact with service providers and natural supports as necessary to ensure that services are effectively coordinated by appropriate providers.  - Promote community presence and participation.  Provide referral and linkage to community resources to help individuals meet their needs and to engage with their communities.  - Implement an ongoing system of monitoring continuous plan review to ensure that supports are delivered according to each individual plan, that progress is being made toward desired outcomes and that individuals are satisfied with services. Take action to remediate any immediate concerns regarding health and welfare. - Assist individuals in choosing providers as needed.  - Assist with enrollment onto Medicaid waivers as appropriate. Complete all related paperwork accurately and in a timely manner to ensure maintenance of funding for supports, including development and recommendation of plans for approval to DODD when services included in plans are funded through the DODD Medicaid Waivers. - Establish an individual’s eligibility for services of County Board of DD. START DATE:   The Cuyahoga DD hires Support Administrators in groups, or what we refer to as “waves." The Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Developmental Specialist to coach, assess, promote, and encourage learning by enhancing routines in partnership with parents/families, and team members that invite play, movement and active exploration in natural environments; assess development in a natural environment.  The nature of work of the Developmental Specialist will include, but is not limited to, the following: - Perform developmental evaluations/assessments in the home or in a community setting of the family choice. - Perform and document the routines based interview (RBI) in collaboration with the family and/or Core Team members. - Work collaboratively with transdisciplinary Core Team members, including parents, service coordinators and therapists in the development and implementation of the IFSP. - Develop IFSP outcomes with family, within their everyday routines and activities identified as important by the parent/primary caregiver.   - Perform data entry into the Evidence-Based Early Intervention (EBEI) database as directed. - Provide demonstration, modeling, coaching and consultation to parents to enhance their use of strategies to achieve outcomes. - Inform parents of available services and resources as they relate to and support IFSP outcomes. - Provide public and private agencies information about the early intervention program of the Cuyahoga DD. - Together with the Service Coordinator, assist parents and children with transition at age three into their educational environment. - Maintain accurate records of individual child's progress per the IFSP and during regular home visits.  Complete paperwork and documentation necessary for ongoing programming. The Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities (Cuyahoga DD) is seeking to hire two professionals in one of the following position titles: Licensed Independent Social Worker or Professional Clinical Counselor.  Our LISW and PCC professionals provide behavioral assessments and design support strategies for individuals with developmental disabilities, as well as perform comprehensive behavioral assessment and contribute to inclusion of behavioral health strategies in the individualized support plan (ISP).   The nature of work for these positions, will include, but is not limited to the following: - Evaluate for diagnostic, prescriptive, or placement purposes and interpret evaluations for parents, staff or other appropriate parties. - Make recommendations for program placement, objectives and intervention strategies.  (This may include referral to outside community agency.)  - Provide on going consultation as needed. - Evaluate and conceptualize the needs of individuals on the basis of the individual's history, data, interviews, and direct observation.  - Apply knowledge from the professional literature whenever possible. - Provide counseling, therapy, and other direct interventions to individuals and families, including services to groups of individuals where appropriate. - Develop or assist in developing data collection procedures and behavioral programs.  - Monitor implementation of behavior support policies and procedures. - Trains staff in the implementation of techniques when needed. - Assists in the collection of program evaluation data in accordance with department or agency direction. - Provides systematic training for Cuyahoga DD and other staff and parents. - Maintain all required statistics and records and service-related documentation including but not limited to treatment plans, assessments, and progress notes. - Consistently meet departmental productivity requirements.
